HEYYYY!!!

Wow! I don't know where to start! We have been doing soooooo much stuff lately!

My sisters joined a homeschool basketball team about a month ago. They had to go to this basketball camp so I went with them and at the last minute I decided to go to the camp too. Well... it was alot of fun and the team that I was with (junior varsity) said that they had room on the team for another person and they wanted me to join. That was awesome!!! So... I joined and we have been practicing for several weeks and we have had a few games. The other day we played against another team (they were varsity girls and we are junior varsity) and we beat them!!! YAY!!! It was so stressful because the score was so close and in the last couple seconds one of the girls on the other team made a 3-pointer!

Anyway... the team won the championship last season so we are going to Oklahoma in March for a tournament! I can't wait!

Oh... I almost forgot... my dad got his casts off about 2 weeks ago! He is going through therapy and he drove our motorhome for the first time yesterday! He still can't hardly move his wrists at all but he can do almost anything now. He is feeding himself and when he drives he just needs someone to turn on the ignition. Thank God!!!

Heyy,

Just wanted to write a little update on my dad. He's doing great! He just got permanent casts on today and he is in NO pain!!!

Well... we haven't been doing anything special lately. Right now we are at the Gramms house and we are watching a movie. It's really intense. OMG!!! That guy just got shot!!!! poor guy :( Oh well...

Tomorrow we are going to a volleyball tournament. It's going to be all day and we are leaving at 6 o'clock AM!! That's crazy early! Oh well... we'll survive.

I don't know what else to write, so I guess I'll just shut up.

Hey everyone,I know it's been forever since I last posted. Most of you probably already know this, but for those of you that didn't hear... listen up! jkMy dad was working on the roof our barn and somehow he fell off of the ladder. Unfortunately he tried to break the fall with his hands but he just ended up breaking both of his wrists and possibly his nose. We took him to the hospital right away and the doctor said that his wrists were crushed and that he would need surgery to put a metal plate in both of his wrists. The only problem was that the doctor was so booked with surgeries that he said that it could be up to ten days before he could do surgery on my dad. Yesterday the hospital called us and told us that last time when they took blood from my dad (for a test) they didn't get enough. So we drove all the way back to the hospital (the hospital is an hour away) because they said they needed the blood before the surgery the next morning. The drive was really hard on my dad. Even though he had casts on both of his arms, and heavy pain medication, he was in terrible pain by the time we got to the hospital. When we got there they took his blood and then we went to sleep (we had our motorhome out in the parkinglot so we slept there). Then in the morning we talked to the doctor (after we had waited several hours because he was in another surgery) and he said that he had looked at the x-rays and he didn't think that my dad needed sugery! That was an answer to prayer even though it was frusterating to drive all the way out there for nothing. So right now my dad is at home and we have another appointment with the doctor on Monday just to make sure he doesn't need surgery. Please pray for us (especially my mom) because my dad can't do anything. He can't feed himself, dress himself, or even go to the bathroom. So far it hasn't been that hard because the pain medication is is making him sooo drowsy, but I know my dad and he won't stay in bed for long and that's when it's going to be hard on us.Your prayers are a big help!

heyy everyone

Well... most of you know that I just got back from the "Journey To The Heart." That was so awesome!

I learned so many amazing things there that it would take forever to write them all out. One thing that really convicted me was pride. There was a list of all the different signs of pride... and I had them all.

Anyway... God really convicted me, so I hope you all will forgive me for my pride and smack me next time I act like I deserve something better.

Wow! It has been a while since I have posted!!

So much has been happening lately. School and work I have been working on campus in the Agriculture department. That has been fun!! I normally wake up around 5:30 and clean out the horse corrals and feeders then at 7:30 I work on the work force. We normally do the hard work around the farm such as digging ditches (by hand), fixing sprinklers (I have so many blisters from that), and take care of the pigs. It's fun! I am going to be showing a cow in the LA County Fair (I have no idea how they convinced me to do it, but they did!!!). Those things are disgusting!!! They're filthy, they stink, and they are WILD!!! The other day one of the cows jumped on top of a guy, he said the he is so sore and he has a massive bruise. The other day we were sheering sheep. That was an interesting experience! I was trying to catch a ewe (a really massive one) when it went under me! So there I was riding around the pen (half on half off) backward on this sheep. It was sad cause there were four other people there and they just stood there and didn't try to help me!!! Anyway, I finally was smashed into the fence and I fell off of the sheep. It really hurt, and I was sore for days afterwards.

Well... not much else has happened. Oh... I was in a Audrey's wedding last weekend and that was fun! I got to wear this really pretty purple dress. I'll (hopefully) post some pictures later of the wedding. That was really nice except that it was an outdoor wedding and I got soooo bit up by chiggers! My legs are covered and I have alot of them on my arms!!

Oh well... Better go. God bless you all.
